Mitte iga mõte ei saa teoks, aga see pole põhjus loobumiseks. Lihtsalt nüüd tuleb mõelda ja otsida uusi lahendusi. Olen leppinud sellega, et tagasilööke tuleb. Ei saa olla kohe nii, et räägin enda ideest ja kõik on vaimustuses. Maailmas on ju nii palju erinevaid inimesi ja mõtteid. Mõte on nagu pusletükk, mis ei sobi kõikide tükkidega vaid tuleb leida need õiged.

Olen endale öelnud, et "ükski hea asi ei pea tulema lihtsalt".

Aasta 2020 algul, jälgides Negavatt konkurssi, nägemaks mis ideedega välja tullakse, sattusin vaimustusse taimsest paberist. See idee toetaks minu keskkonnasõbralikke soove ning tundus ideaalne lahendus kasutada seda kohviku menüü paberiks. Nüüd aitas koroonaviiruse aeg kaasa arusaamani, et menüüsid peab aeg ajalt ka puhastama. Varasemas postituses välja toodud menüü paberi idee ei peaks puhastamisele vastu. Selle taimset paberit tegeva noortetiimiga on suhtlus kadunud ja see ei jõudnud kunagi tegudeni. Ma veel ei loobu keskkonnasõbralikust menüü mõttest vaid olen püüdnud leida muud lahendust selle tugevdamiseks, et see peaks puhastamisele vastu. Ma ei soovi seda kiletada ega muul viisil nullida selle keskkonnasõbralikku väärtust.
Aja jooksul olen uurinud ning teada saanud, et keskkonnasõbralikul viisil menüü jätkusuutlikuks muutmine, läheb kulukaks. Sain mõtte püsida soovitud menüü lahenduse juures ja puhastamise asemel soetada uus. Minu arvates keskkonnasõbralik või mitte aga asja pidev tootmine, on ikka ressursside kulu.
Seda postitust kirjutades kuulsin, et koroonast on hoogu saanud menüü paberi asemel QR koodi kasutamine, kus iga klient saab enda telefoniga avada menüü. Minu mõtted läksid sellele, et ühiskonnas iga inimene ei ole veel truu nutitelefoni kasutaja seega vaja on katta ka see mure.
Aeg näitab, mis sellest saab. Kõik on veel ees.
Olen juba mõnda huvitavat paberi lahendust uurinud ja võib juhtuda, et varsti tulen uue ägeda ideega.

Tundsin, et ainult üksi enda ettevõtlusega alustades ning unistuste poole püüeldes, jään üks hetk hätta. Seetõttu hakkasin julgemalt enda ideest inimestele rääkima, sooviga leida meeskonda, kes oleks mulle sellel teekonnal abiks.
Suurt rolli mängis minu noorsootöö taust ning soov jagada võimalust õppida läbi antud protsessi. See viis mind selleni, et 2020 aasta suve lõpus, septembri alguses ja lõpus olid mul kohtumised Haapsalu Kutsehariduskeskusega. Kui ma teist korda pidin minema nendega kohtuma, siis see lükkus koroona ohu tõttu nädala võrra edasi. Alguses oli mu pettumus suur, kuid siis mõistsin, et halva asja saab ka pöörata heaks. Sain hoopis juurde ühe nädala, mil sain oma ideed lihvida ehk sain olla nädala võrra parem.  

Soov oli leida ja luua koostöö Haapsalu Kutsehariduskeskuse kokandus õpilastega, et jagada nendega oma ettevõtte loomisteekonda, läbi mille nad saaksid ka õppida ja areneda. Mina ise tean toidust ja toitlustusest seda, et vajan toitu hommikul, lõunal ja õhtul.

Teisel kohtumisel liitus meiega kokandus õppejõud. Jõudsime ideeni kohtuda veel koos õpetajate ja õpilastega, et leida koos murekohti, mida saaks koos arutleda.

Selleks, et pakkuda õpilastele praktikakohta, vajan esmalt selle olemasolu. See on hetkel suureks puuduseks. Elatudes vaid toetusrahast, ei oska ma veel leida lahendust koha jaoks. Ma ei saa eeldada, et kokaks õppija või keegi teine hakkab praktika korras minu ettevõtet looma.

2020 aasta lõpus loobusin ideest ühendada minu kohviku loomine Haapsalu Kutsehariduskeskuse kokandus õpilaste õppekavaga. Pakutud idee oli minu mõtted teostada läbi õpilasfirmade. Loobumise põhjuseks võin tuua selle, et mulle tundus, õppe korras ettevõtluse loomine võib muutuda ärakasutamiseks. See, et õpilane teeb hinde nimel ning kooli toel minu ettevõtluse teekonnas samme, ei tundunud mulle õige. Ma ei soovi kedagi ära kasutada.

Not every idea comes true, but it is not a reason to give up. It is now necessary to think and find new solutions. I have agreed that there will be setbacks. It can't be that I'm talking about my own idea and everyone is thrilled. There are so many different people and thoughts in the world. The idea is like a puzzle piece that does not fit all the pieces but you have to find the right ones.

I have told myself that "a good thing does not come easily".

At the beginning of 2020 I watched the Negavatt competition to see what ideas come up. I fell in love with paper made of plants. This idea would support my eco-friendly desires and seemed like the perfect solution to use this as a cafe menu paper. Now, the time of the coronavirus contributed to the understanding that the menus must be cleaned from time to time, and in the current solution it would not stand the cleaning. Communication with that youth team has been lost and it never came to any real step. I am not giving up on the eco-friendly idea of ​​the menu yet, but I have tried to find another solution to strengthen it so that it can stand the cleaning. I do not want to reset its environmental value.

Over time, I've researched and learned that making a menu sustainable in an environmentally friendly way is going to be expensive. The option what I heard would be to stick to the desired menu solution and purchase a new one instead of cleaning. In my opinion, environmentally friendly or no butt by doing continuous production, is still the cost of resources.

While I wrote this post, I heard that coronavirus time has boost idea to use of a QR code instead of menu paper, where each customer can open the menu with their own smartphone. My thoughts went to the fact that in these days every person is not yet a loyal smartphone user so it is necessary to cover this concern as well. Time will tell and show what will become of it. Everything is yet in progress. I have already researched some interesting paper solutions and it may happen that I will come up with a new great idea soon.

I felt that if I start my business all on my own I will get stuck soon. Because of that I started to be more bold and open in sharing my business plan ideas with hope to find a team who supports me on that journey.

Big part of that was my youth worker background and desire to share opportunities to study through processes. Throughout the end of summer 2020, beginning and the end of September I had meetings with Haapsalu Vocational Education and Training Centre. When we were about to have a second meeting, we had to postpone it for a week because of the danger posed by the coronavirus. First my disappointment was big but then I found that bad things can be turned to good. I won one week to make my presentation better and to be more prepared than I would have been the week before.

My wish was to find and establish cooperation with the cooking students of Haapsalu Vocational Education Center in order to share with them the journey of creating their own company, through which they could also learn and develop. I know about food and catering only that I need food for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

In the second meeting we were joined by the teacher of these students. We came up with an idea to meet with teachers and students to find concerns that could be discussed and fixed together.. To offer a place where students can practice I first need a place where to do it. This is a major drawback at the moment. While I live only from a country’s support allowance I cannot find a solution for a place. I can’t expect that students or somebody else will do it for me.

In October 2020, I abandoned the idea of combining the creation of my café with the cooking curriculum of the Haapsalu Vocational Education Center. The idea what was offered would do student company project. The reason of abandone was that involving students in the real business seems to be quite exploitative. It did not feel right that the students were working for me just to get a grade and with the backing of the school. I don't want to take advantage of anyone.

Our own ideas we must implement ourselves.
